Maka is a project in development. This notice explains how we handle information on our website and early-access waitlist.

What we collect and why

When you join the waitlist, we store your email address and the date you signed up. We use this information to manage the waitlist and contact you about Maka’s early access and launch. Signing up is optional.

Services we use

Cloudflare hosts the website and stores the waitlist. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent spam. Cloudflare may process technical information, such as your IP address and browser information, to deliver and protect these services. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

We load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives information such as your IP address and browser request headers when your browser requests them. See Google Fonts’ privacy information.

We do not sell your waitlist information or use it for third-party advertising. This website does not use advertising or analytics trackers. Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own.

How long we keep it

We keep your signup while it is needed to operate the waitlist and provide early-access invitations, unless you ask us to remove it sooner. If we close the waitlist, we will delete information that is no longer needed.

Your choices and contact

You can leave the waitlist or request access to, correction of, or deletion of your signup by emailing hello@maka.do. Please write from the address you used to sign up so we can verify the request. You can also contact us there with privacy questions.

Changes to this notice

We will update this page as Maka develops and our data practices change, and revise the date above.
